This afternoon I went with my mother to buy a dress for a formal I'm going to in December. I normally hate shopping and dresses, and it takes around 2 hours for me to buy a few t-shirts and jeans, but after just 10 minutes in the first shop I found the perfect dress. It's just below knee length, and dark blue with little silver patterns of leaves and flowers and it's beautiful. (picture on the left!) :D I'm really pleased too, cause I've always been quite shy of how I look (I call my body shape "teapot" - short and stout) and people are being really complimentary.
I also had work tonight. Most people I know hate working Saturday nights, but I love it. I clean in a cafe with a ball pit and small playframe and slides for kids, and on Saturdays I work from 6 - 9.30 with my good friend Christian and a guy called Neal. We clean the balls from the ball pit and just talk nonsense and have a laugh. I also get to mop the frame on Saturdays, which is kinda fun too. Normally after work Christian and I head to the nearby McDonalds for a McFlurry, but tonight I went to the wedding party of my friends Dave and Megan from church. Megan looked beautiful, and everybody had a great time laughing and dancing.
